I grew up in Hong Kong and speaks fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English. I have strong passions working with a diverse population. Prior to arrival at Mizzou, I worked at an eating disorder treatment facility in Minnesota. I integrate Eastern philosophy with Western scientific knowledge in my clinical practice, facilitating my clients to weave meaningful narratives of their life experiences and reduce suffering. I am compassionate, curious and gentle. Since joining the Health Center, I have facilitated the Nourish to Flourish (eating disorders) group and the International Student Growth group. I also teach a class in mindfulness and academic success. In leisure, I enjoy writing my blog, experimenting with new recipes, yoga, playing video games and paddle-boarding.
